Floating in the infinite swirl of deep space, the astronaut does what any of us would do — holds up his phone and throws up a peace sign. The cosmos churns behind him in waves of red, gold, and blue, the aluminum alive with light, and somewhere in the reflection of that dark visor is the whole absurdity of the modern human condition. We made it to space. We brought our phones. A collaboration with artist George George, this piece is equal parts spectacle and punchline, and somehow the funniest thing in the room no matter what room it's in.
